Assistant CFO
Our client, a leading healthcare provider, seeks an experienced Assistant CFO to lead their accounting and finance department. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
 
Assistant CFO Responsibilities 

• Oversee accounting and finance department members.
• Track and analyze costs, assets, and investments to manage risks and maintain alignment with the organization’s goals.
• Ensure month end close and financial reporting activities are completed timely, accurately, and within compliance.
• Lead financial planning activities (forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis).
• Support audit preparations and serve as a main point of contact for external auditors.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.

 
Assistant CFO Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience including 3 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Prior healthcare or related industry experience; multi-entity experience preferred.
• Tech-savvy with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

 
Salary: $130k-$150k (DOE)
