Material Coordinator
The Material Coordinator will lead regular meetings with stakeholders to track the status of open deliveries and liaise with organization logistics for timely delivery of goods. The Material Coordinator is responsible for receiving goods into our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to permit timely payment to vendors and monitoring progress to ensure inventory accuracy. This role will alert stakeholders about potential delays that could impact schedules and provide costs/options for alternative shipping methods. The Material Coordinator also identifies improvement opportunities and initiatives to further improve quality, delivery speed and productivity parameters.

This role is majority remote with required quarterly on-site meetings in Tualatin, Oregon.

Material Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Receive goods into ERP Inbound-Transit once picked up by organization logistics or transportation service providers.
  • Use the ERP system to monitor and move inventory to the appropriate locations.
  • Update ERP system for goods delivering to contract manufacturers.
  • Identify and resolve potential risks on deliveries to prevent escalations and eliminate loss of revenue. Identify root cause and drive closure to permanently eliminate risk.
  • Report to management team on overall delivery performance parameters (project heath, utilization, realization etc.) highlighting any critical project escalations and potential delays.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), customer’s contractual obligations and audit findings to ensure no major non-compliance or deviations.
  • Report out on costs and risks associated with project deliveries to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and initiatives to further improve quality, delivery speed, and productivity parameters.
  • Manage virtual inventory at Contract Manufactures and organization storage facilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Material Coordinator Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience using ERP systems, coordinating deliveries, logistics and/or customer service.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Driven, self-motivated and result oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and pivot focus quickly when necessary.
  • Strong customer and client service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support international teams.
  • Able to frequently lift 25lbs and up to 50lbs occasionally.
  • Limited travel requirements 25% – 35% International and Domestic.
  • High-speed internet required.

Compensation: $25-$27/hr. (DOE)
