HR Administrative Assistant
Our client is seeking a tech-savvy HR Administrative Assistant to support their fast-paced and dynamic Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle a variety of HR functions. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with ADP Workforce Now, managing onboarding processes, and handling benefits administration, while maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor.

This role is fully onsite in Fairview, Oregon.

HR Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

  • Assist with ADP Workforce Now configurations and functionalities.
  • Manage onboarding processes, including pre-screening, new hire orientations, and employee documentation.
  • Handle job postings and track applicant assessments and background checks.
  • Support benefits administration (excluding 401k), including medical, dental, vision, and leave administration.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with EEO and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage confidential reporting.
  • Maintain and update HRIS records, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Assist with employee relations, safety issues, and general HR tasks.
  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and company events.
  • Perform audits on HR files and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

HR Administrative Assistant Qualifications

  • Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • 2 or more years of experience in an HR support role, with exposure to generalist duties.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a dynamic and flexible personality.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Comfortable with troubleshooting and problem-solving in an imperfect, evolving environment.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and a willingness to remain calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration, leave management, and employment law compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain composure in challenging situations.

Compensation: $25-$30/hr. (DOE)
