Accounting & Social Media Assistant
Our longstanding and well-known Portland client seeks an energetic and proactive Accounting & Social Media Assistant to support various teams and departments, providing administrative support, managing social media, and assisting with e-commerce operations. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who can handle a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their skills across different functions.

This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon working normal business hours.

Accounting & Social Media Assistant Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the management team, including meeting notes, follow-ups, calendar management, and other day-to-day tasks.
  • Manage meeting logistics, such as room reservations and equipment setup.
  • Assist accounting team in processing AR/AP transactions, performing general bookkeeping via QuickBooks, and ensuring accuracy and organization of data in Excel.
  • Work with the social media team to create and post engaging content on platforms like Instagram and Facebook; monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and grow the online community.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of products/events and edit media to align with marketing strategies/brand aesthetics.
  • Assist with managing the e-commerce platform and help develop strategies to improve the online shopping experience and support sales goals.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and managing mail for all companies.

Accounting & Social Media Assistant Qualifications

  • Relevant education or Associate’s Degree is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and basic data entry.
  • Basic photography skills are required for capturing and editing visual content.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a “go-getter” attitude, adaptable to a changing environment.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities with the flexibility to manage various tasks across departments.
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools and processes.

Salary: $27-$28/hr. (DOE)
