Senior 3D Brand Designer
Our client is seeking a Senior 3D Brand Designer to lead the creation and execution of immersive brand experiences across a variety of physical spaces. This role requires a blend of spatial and 3D design expertise, with the ability to engage in art direction when needed. The designer will play a key role in activating 3D pop-up spaces for retail, events, and more, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive brand innovation.
This role is fully remote. Candidates located in Boston, Massachusetts or New York City, New York are preferred.
Senior 3D Brand Designer Responsibilities
- Develop creative briefs, layouts, and mood boards for various brand activations.
- Lead ideation sessions with creative colleagues and agencies to generate innovative concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, stakeholders, and agencies to execute engaging design solutions rooted in strategy.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal clients through effective communication and consultation.
- Drive the development, concept, and execution of brand experiences, including pop-ups, activations, and internal presentations.
- Contribute to visual center creation across different media and formats.
- Lead the concept, development, and execution of pinnacle retail experiences.
- Oversee fixture design and execution, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Foster strong business relationships to enhance collaboration and project outcomes.
- Ensure creative excellence by aligning deliverables with marketing processes and consumer insights.
- Provide regular updates on project statuses, ensuring transparency and alignment with all stakeholders.
- Proactively address challenges and offer creative solutions to meet project goals.
Senior 3D Brand Designer Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in design, specifically in 3D or spatial environments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experiential design across various scales, with a focus on retail and event activation.
- Deep understanding of retail trends, visual merchandising, and consumer engagement.
- Experience in fast-paced, matrixed environments, whether agency or in-house.
- Art direction experience is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and other 3D modeling software.
- Rendering and basic animation skills are a plus.
- Ability to design both interactive and static presentations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize milestones, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Technical proficiency in 3D design and fabrication drawings.
- Willingness to handle administrative tasks, including project management and client communication, alongside design responsibilities.
- Flexibility to travel and attend onsite events as needed.
Compensation: $66.67/hr. (DOE)
