Marketing Buyer
We are seeking a Marketing Buyer to oversee purchasing activities related to various marketing functions, including PR, market research, events, media, advertising, sponsorships, and both direct and digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will develop key relationships with stakeholders, conduct market analysis, and drive procurement efficiency while ensuring compliance with Global Purchasing Policy.
This is a remote position.
Marketing Buyer Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management: Identify and foster relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Market Analysis: Proactively conduct market analysis and benchmarking, tracking industry trends to inform procurement strategies.
Supplier Portfolio Management: Develop and manage a robust supplier portfolio, leading negotiations to drive savings and improve supplier relationships.
Competitive Bidding: Identify opportunities for competitive bidding and enhance procurement processes for greater efficiency.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to the Global Purchasing Policy and other relevant policies.
Purchasing Requests: Review and approve daily purchasing requests using Universal Workflow.
Project Management: Manage global projects and integrations, collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to finalize Statements of Work (SOW) and Purchase Orders (POs).
Contract Negotiation: Create and negotiate services agreements, as well as review and approve vendor extension and change requests.
RFP Management: Oversee the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, ensuring thorough evaluation and selection of vendors.
Contract Management: Maintain oversight of contract agreements, ensuring compliance and performance.
Marketing Buyer Qualifications
Relevant experience in procurement, particularly in a marketing context.
Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
Strong understanding of marketing functions, including PR, sponsorships, and events.
Familiarity with SAP systems and procurement tools.
Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to support cross-functional teams effectively.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Team-building capabilities to foster a collaborative work environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy.
Salary: $65-$67/hr. (DOE)
