Program Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee governance processes for technology investment contracts, prioritize and track execution of optimization opportunities across a vast technology landscape, and guide projects to success. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep expertise in IT governance, vendor management, and complex project execution.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead governance processes for reviewing technology investment contracts, ensuring alignment with established principles and making actionable recommendations.
  • Drive the discovery, prioritization, and execution of technology optimization initiatives, coordinating efforts across teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Manage and direct project teams, creating and implementing project execution plans and identifying necessary technical and business resources.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, remain within budget, and are completed on schedule to fulfill the technical and business requirements.
  • Spearhead the RFP process, contract review, negotiation, and vendor selection, maintaining a strong focus on achieving favorable terms.
  • Address project resistance with a solutions-oriented approach and manage evolving priorities while maintaining overall program outcomes.
  • Design and present visual updates on project status, utilizing strong PowerPoint skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Program Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 8-9 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in IT governance practices and processes.
  • Advanced project management skills, particularly within complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, balancing shifting priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities, with a strategic and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Strong visual design skills for creating professional presentations (PPX expertise).
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop clear paths forward.
  • Experience leading RFP processes, contract review and negotiation, and vendor selection.

Compensation: $60-$80/hr. (DOE)
