CNC Mill Programmer
The CNC Mill Programmer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs using MasterCam and Esprit to manufacture high-quality metal parts according to blueprint specifications.
This position is onsite in Hillsboro, OR. Day shift: M-Th, 10-hour shift, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
CNC Mill Programmer Responsibilities
Develop and implement CNC programs for metal parts using MasterCam (2024 or above) and Esprit programming software.
Program various CNC lathes, assigning program numbers and ensuring alignment with customer specifications.
Analyze blueprints to establish detailed sequences of operations for efficient production.
Update and modify programs as needed to accommodate changes and improvements.
Select appropriate tooling for each machine and design necessary fixtures for lathe operations.
Create and provide setup sheets to operators to ensure correct machine setup and part production.
Assess material sizes and availability, and request necessary materials for production.
Communicate daily with the CAD Department, operators, and management to refine and develop products.
Prioritize and review new job requests, and analyze returned products to update and correct documentation.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and operational needs.
CNC Mill Programmer Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience with MasterCam (2020 or above) and Esprit programming software.
Experience as a lathe machinist is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Ability to plan and program complex parts in accordance with blueprints.
Proficient in tolerance and blueprint reading.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and attention to detail.
Salary: $30-$35/hr. (DOE)
