Customer Service Logistics Coordinator
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Logistics Coordinator to join their logistics team, specifically focusing on outbound freight operations and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role is essential for coordinating logistics in a fast-paced environment and will play a key part in supporting our client’s ongoing implementation of SAP, a crucial system for their supply chain operations. Candidates are required to have SAP experience as this system will be instrumental in managing logistics functions efficiently.

This role is onsite in McMinnville, Oregon.

Customer Service Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Arrange and schedule outbound freight shipments, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their outbound freight needs, providing updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a high level of service.
  • Prepare and review critical shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and tracking details.
  • Communicate with freight carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate rates, and confirm shipment details, leveraging SAP to support these operations.
  • Identify and proactively resolve freight-related issues (e.g., delays, damages, discrepancies) with a focus on maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Use SAP and other logistics and customer management software to track shipments, maintain accurate customer records, and support smooth supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure accurate and timely outbound order fulfillment.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to enhance outbound freight processes and contribute to the development of best practices.

Customer Service Logistics Coordinator Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in logistics or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other logistics management software.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and solid problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of freight shipping regulations and practices is a plus.

Salary: $65k/year. (DOE)
