Administrative Assistant
Our client is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant dedicated to supporting a well-organized and efficient workplace. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from general office support to event logistics and presentation creation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and skilled in both administrative tasks and providing high-quality support for internal stakeholders.
This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
- Manage essential office tasks, including setting up and maintaining files, directing callers, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence. Review drafts and documents for accuracy in grammar and policy adherence. Support supervisors by gathering, compiling, and reporting relevant information.
- Prepare expense reports and purchase orders, maintain office supplies, update organizational charts, and coordinate office or equipment moves.
- Respond tactfully to inquiries and issues within scope, maintaining confidentiality. Act as a primary point of contact for general department information.
- Arrange meetings, events, and travel plans, coordinating venue details, room setups, catering, and materials. Utilize the online reservation system to adhere to company travel policies and work with travel agents and airlines for customer service needs.
- Produce high-quality graphic and text presentations, often within tight deadlines, using advanced computer skills to meet internal needs effectively.
- Compile special reports by selecting and analyzing relevant data from various sources, providing clear and actionable insights.
Administrative Assistant Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of directly relevant work experience in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in creating presentations and reports.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on detail-oriented work.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external contacts.
Compensation: $26.06/hr.
