PLS-CADD – Transmission Senior Technician
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLS-CADD – Transmission Senior Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for transmission line engineering and the application of remotely sensed data to create precise transmission models. As part of a talented team of Analysts, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while ensuring accuracy and consistency in all deliverables.

This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon for training, afterward this role may be a hybrid model.

PLS-CADD – Transmission Senior Technician Responsibilities

• Model and update transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 550kV in PLS-CADD, adhering to client standards, specifications, preferences, and relevant industry guidelines.
• Integrate remotely sensed data (LiDAR) into existing transmission line models with precision and minimal error.
• Perform structural analysis and design of various structures, including pole, lattice, framed, and guyed configurations.
• Specify and select transmission line components.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

PLS-CADD – Transmission Senior Technician Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in transmission line engineering.
• Technical proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER.
• Experience with MicroStation is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles related to transmission line modeling in PLS-CADD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to contract obligations.
