Experience Engineer
Our client is seeking a skilled Experience Engineer with strong expertise in data analysis, engineering automation, and solution integration. This role is critical in improving productivity and delivering scalable data and reporting solutions for internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a technical, fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to meet the unique demands of this specialized position.

This role is onsite in Beaverton, OR.

Experience Engineer Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions to streamline engineering processes and enhance developer productivity.
• Ingest, manipulate, and analyze data within cloud-based environments.
• Develop and expose APIs using GraphQL to support data-driven decision-making.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to provide actionable insights using tools like Grafana.
• Automate testing to improve product quality and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving the developer experience.

Experience Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced expertise in MySQL, SQL, and data analysis.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of experience working in AWS environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Shell Scripting.
• Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation.
• Experience managing source code with tools such as GitHub.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Grafana.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Compensation: $63-$70/hr. (DOE)
