Warehouse Operations Manager
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of their dual warehouse facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless processes for receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution. The ideal candidate will lead by example, optimize workflows, and uphold the highest safety standards.
This role is onsite in McMinnville, Oregon.
Warehouse Operations Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution processes.
- Supervise, mentor, and train warehouse staff, conducting performance evaluations and fostering professional growth.
- Manage inventory levels, perform regular audits, and ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping.
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Generate and analyze reports related to warehouse performance, inventory levels, and shipping metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
Warehouse Operations Manager Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems, such as SAP (WMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of allergen rules and best practices within a food-grade warehouse environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), are a plus.
