Marketing Analytics and Insights Specialist
This position is responsible for providing insights and recommendations that will help the organization optimize our marketing funnel. Designs processes and analytical models and frameworks that improve acquisition rates of prospects and customers and decreases friction of moving them through the funnel, positively impacting both revenue outcomes and the overall customer experience. Acts as the go-to resource for uncovering insights and making recommendations that allow teams to scale and operate more effective while partnering with and providing insights to a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders, including the web team, demand and digital experience, customer marketing, and channel/partner teams.

This is a remote position.

Marketing Analytics and Insights Specialist Responsibilities 
Develops deep expertise of data, systems, tools, and processes related to marketing funnel metrics (including but not limited to web platforms, marketing automation/email platforms, sales automation/engagement platforms, social platforms and CRM).
Proactively identifies opportunities to automate and/or optimize manual processes and reporting across the global marketing team, facilitating self-serve reporting and formulating roadmaps to prioritize impactful projects.
Creates automated reports and dashboards that allow business owners greater ability to optimize performance of key programs, initiatives, and workflows along the prospect lifecycle, helping to develop new KPIs and supporting metrics as necessary.
Provides day to day Analytical support for both prospect and customer engagement, personalization activities, prospect and customer pathways and always on prospect and customer trigger programs.
Analyzes A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicates results and provide recommendations.
Supports data collection strategy to ensure insights captured allow for efficient B2B marketing and selling motions.
Supports marketing stakeholders with easy access to data that shapes their program strategies.
Prepares presentations that summarize key insights tailored to specific prospect marketing and sales audiences, at the individual contributor level, at a daily, weekly, and monthly cadence.
Collaborates and builds credibility with stakeholders, staying up to date on new initiatives and working to understand their data and reporting needs while managing expectations and providing guidance on best practices.
Documents and validates project requirements, processes, and metric definitions; provide updates and requesting feedback at appropriate milestones.
Participates in projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Occasional business travel may be required.

Marketing Analytics and Insights Specialist Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or similar field required.
Zero (0) plus years of experience in reporting/analyst role in marketing or sales with strong grasp of standard metrics.
Two (2) plus years building data visualizations in Power BI or Tableau in non-academic/internship setting (beginner proficiency required).
Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce reporting required.
Experience with web analytics platform such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Ads, or Adobe Analytics (Omniture Site Catalyst), or similar data management platforms.
Experience with reporting capabilities in marketing automation platforms such as Pardot (preferred), Eloqua, Marketo, etc. preferred.
Experience building and automating individual resource and middle-management level reporting.
Experience with sales automation/sales engagement platforms such as SalesLoft a nice to have.
Experience providing insights and recommendations that align to operational and strategic objectives.
Experience managing and prioritizing projects of varying size and complexity with a focus on both efficiency and quality.
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Strong grasp of statistical concepts and prediction modeling with an ability to provide concise conclusions based on data analysis projects.
Instincts for effective and scalable problem solving.
Understanding of business intelligence and its role in the organization.
Drive to learn and grow data and business-related skillset.
Ability to pro-actively work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills.
Rigorous attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
Knowledge of database management concepts.
Ability to champion change and implement change management practices.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, specifically the ability to translate non-technical stakeholder requirements into effective and actionable visualizations and reports.
Ability to rationalize when directional insights are sufficient vs when wholly accurate data is required for analysis.
Working knowledge of the following analytical tools: modeling and reporting in Excel/Access and SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or other data visualization tools
Proven track record of working with marketing data from disparate sources and learning or managing new systems/platforms/tools.

Compensation: $25-$30/hr. (DOE)
