Payroll Specialist
Our local Portland area client seeks a reliable Payroll Specialist to support their team! This is an exciting opportunity to get a foot in the door with a well-establish Portland organization that has been around for over 100 years.

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities

• Process payroll twice a month ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Handle garnishment and adjustments.
• Research and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Maintain data in systems and review for accuracy.
• Assist with tax filings and payroll reports.

Payroll Specialist Qualifications

• At least 2 years year of full-cycle payroll experience.
• Familiarity with GAAP; exposure to union payroll a plus.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SAP, Workday, Dynamics, or similar ERP and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary: $25-$30/hr. (DOE)
