Human Resources Director

Human Resources Director Responsibilities

  • Administer HR policies, oversee employee services, and lead the HR department, including labor relations and union negotiations.
  • Advise management on personnel issues, disciplinary processes, and compliance with federal/state labor laws.
  • Manage compensation programs, including job descriptions, wage/salary scales, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies, employee training, and orientation programs.
  • Ensure effective management of personnel records, audits, and responses to government-related inquiries.

Human Resources Director Qualifications

  • Must be SHRM certified or willing to complete certification.
  • At least 5 years of HR Management experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar preferred.
  • Prior experience with unions and/or in non-profit sector a plus.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP or similar preferred) and other relevant software.
  • In-depth knowledge of personnel administration practices, management techniques, and program operations.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships with management, staff, and the public.

Compensation: $90k–$100k (DOE)
