Corporate Controller (Construction)
Our well-established construction client seeks a confident and results-driven Corporate Controller to lead and mentor their accounting team. The ideal candidate will excel in process improvement, foster a collaborative environment, and effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This is a hybrid role requiring 3+ days a week onsite in Vancouver, Washington.

Corporate Controller Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting team members, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
• Oversee month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.
• Handle job costing, job cost analysis, WIP, prevailing wage, and commissions.
• Manage high-volume AP, AR, collections, and local tax filings.
• Serve as point person for external CPA, providing ongoing audit preparation/support.

Corporate Controller Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Previous Controller-level experience in the construction industry. 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP compliance, job costing, WIP accounting, and overbilling/underbilling.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Deadline-driven with the ability to effectively delegate and manage competing priorities.

Salary: $120k–$140k (DOE) + Bonus
