Senior Sensory Perception Researcher
Our client is seeking a Senior Sensory Perception Researcher to join their team on a one-year contract. This role is ideal for an experienced researcher with a background in human sensory perception studies and consumer product testing. The successful candidate will design and conduct research involving human participants, analyze data, and contribute valuable insights that drive product innovation.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Senior Sensory Perception Researcher Responsibilities
- Design and execute sensory perception studies involving human participants.
- Develop and implement surveys to assess sensory attributes and consumer preferences.
- Conduct data analysis to extract meaningful insights and support product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine research methods and apply findings.
- Ensure compliance with research protocols and ethical guidelines for human research.
- Contribute to the development of new methodologies for sensory perception evaluation.
- Effectively communicate research findings to internal stakeholders.
Senior Sensory Perception Researcher Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Sensory Sciences, Food Science, Cosmetic Science, or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of research experience may also be considered.
- Strong background in sensory perception research and experimental design.
- Experience conducting research with human subjects.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Prior experience with consumer product testing is highly preferred.
Compensation: $46.67/hr. (DOE)
