Accounting Manager
Our westside client seeks a passionate and charismatic Accounting Manager to lead their accounting team! This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic group that takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who enjoys taking a hands-on approach in supporting the organization’s ongoing success.

This is a hybrid role requiring qualified candidates to occasionally commute to offices in Beaverton, Oregon.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager

  • Oversee three direct reports and ensure month end close is completed timely/accurately.
  • Review AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
  • Manage, track, and report on daily cash flow activities.
  • Handle financial statement preparations.
  • Perform variance analysis and inform leadership of findings.
  • Continuously assess processes and implement improvements/efficiencies.
  • Ad-hoc projects, financial analysis/reporting, and annual audit support.

Accounting Manager Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience including 3 years of supervisory/leadership responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business; active or in-process CPA preferred.
  • Public Accounting experience, Big 4 or large regional firm highly preferred.
  • Industry experience in property management, real estate, construction, senior living or hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, calculations, formatting) and able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Team-oriented with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

Salary: $100k-$135k + Bonus (DOE)
