Accounting Manager (Non-Profit)
Our local non-profit client seeks a mission-driven Accounting Manager to join their team! The ideal candidate is a strong leader who values diversity and making an impact in the local Portland community.

This is a hybrid role requiring qualified applicants to commute weekly to offices in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager

• Oversee and mentor accounting team members.
• Manage grant funding and contract review processes.
• Maintain up-to-date grant information in systems.
• Review accounting transaction for accuracy.
• Develop and implement streamlined processes.
• Ad-hoc project management, reporting, and accounting support.

Accounting Manager Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience and previous leadership/supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge grant billing functions, debits/credits, GL reconciliations, and allocations.
• Exposure to grant or fund accounting required; non-profit experience a plus.
• Proficient with QuickBooks and ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred).
• Natural leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Salary: $85k-$95k (DOE)
