Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist (AP/AR)
Our non-profit client seeks a self-motivated and reliable AR/AP Specialist who can support their team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, has a can-do attitude, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This is a fully remote role available to Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Washington Metro Area candidates only.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist

• Handle high-volume invoice preparation and processing.
• Process receivables and payables ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Review/process orders and prepare/submit invoices to vendors.
• Review billing reports and reach out to vendors to collect past-due payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in systems.
• Ad-hoc month/year end support and purchasing assistance.

Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications

• High volume invoice preparation/processing experience required.
• 5 years of AR/AP experience and strong knowledge of month and year end processes.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and comfortable working in a paperless environment.
• Financial Edge Software Experience Preferred.
• Customer service focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deadline-driven with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary: $26-$28/hr. (DOE)
