Campaign Management System Product Manager
Our client is seeking a Campaign Management System Product Manager with strong expertise in marketing communications platforms and a deep understanding of consumer engagement strategies. This role is responsible for managing a comprehensive campaign management system and ensuring seamless integration across marketing channels and technologies.
This role is fully remote.
Campaign Management System Product Manager Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead strategist for the campaign management system, overseeing all aspects of implementation and system integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to understand consumer engagement goals and translate them into executable business requirements.
- Implement and configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Message Gears to support campaign execution, including setup of data integrations.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, coordinate timelines, and handle invoicing to ensure efficient delivery of services.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure software functionality aligns with business requirements, negotiating schedules and service levels as needed.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for consumer engagement tools, outlining business rules and best practices.
- Track and resolve system defects promptly to ensure minimal disruption to consumer experiences and campaign effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert on consumer engagement tools, guiding internal stakeholders on best practices.
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud into broader Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds to ensure cohesive experiences across touchpoints.
- Actively participate in governance and architectural review committees to align Marketing Cloud configurations with enterprise standards.
- Oversee system configuration and enhancements to meet the evolving needs of marketing managers and stakeholders.
Campaign Management System Product Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, MIS) or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing campaign development or communication platform management, with 3+ years focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with SFMC core accounts, business unit and account configuration, user setup, data imports/exports, and AmpScript development.
- Proficiency in configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automation Studio, Audience Builder, SMS, and mobile push capabilities.
- Proven experience in integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Sales and Service Clouds through v5 integration.
- Detail-oriented and technically adept, with experience configuring enterprise software and ideally familiarity with development languages and APIs.
- Strong skills in vendor management, communication, and collaboration across varying levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to articulate technical solutions in business terms and convey complex ideas to a diverse audience.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects within budget and scope.
- Familiarity with CRM-based methodologies and best practices in consumer engagement to drive impactful campaign results.
