Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Our Willamette Valley area client is adding a member to their Executive team and seeks an experienced COO to join their organization. This role reports to the CEO and oversees the Compliance Officer, Director of Operations, IT Director, and Document Administrator. The ideal candidate has a passion for working in the banking industry and partnering with members of the executive team to ensure the organization maintains successful operations.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) Responsibilities

  • Oversee, manage, and train team members.
  • Handle reporting functions and share insights with Board of Directors.
  • Support executive team with making strategic decisions, mitigating risk, and maintaining alignment with the organization's goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure the organization's compliance.
  • Continuously assess processes and implement process improvements/efficiencies.
  • Act as main contact for internal and external auditors.
  • Ad-hoc reporting, budgeting, and operational planning.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of leadership experience in banking, treasury management, or related financial industry.
  • Must have prior experience managing operations and IT departments in a banking/financial setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Executive presence with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen and an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Salary: $200k+ (DOE) + generous Bonus and Equity
