Responsibilities of the Construction Payroll Specialist

• Handle weekly certified construction payroll.
• Perform union/non-union payroll processing including garnishment and deduction calculations.
• Review timesheets to verify hours and prepare payroll reconciliations as needed.
• Prepare monthly union payroll reports.
• Support employee onboarding and new hire paperwork activities.
• Ensure employment verification requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist with employee benefit inquiries.

Construction Payroll Specialist Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-process construction/certified payroll reporting experience.
• Knowledge of union payroll and prevailing wage reporting; general contractor experience a plus.
• Familiarity with payroll regulations and processes including garnishments, reconciliations, and taxes.
• Proficiency with construction accounting software (Vista or similar) and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Salary: $75k-$90k (DOE)
