Customer Account Specialist
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the order-to-cash process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the global customer database. You will collaborate across various departments to support business operations, maintain compliance, and enhance customer satisfaction.
This role is a hybrid model in Westminster, Colorado.
Customer Account Specialist Responsibilities
- Customer Data Management: Create, manage, and maintain accurate customer master records, including contact details, billing, and shipping addresses.
- Data Validation: Identify and correct discrepancies, inconsistencies, or duplications within the system.
- Process Improvement: Recommend process enhancements to improve data validation and management efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer service, to gather and verify customer information. Communicate effectively to resolve data-related issues.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and localization requirements regarding customer data and privacy standards.
- Escalation: Escalate unresolved or complex issues to team leadership as needed.
- Customer Satisfaction: Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets by promptly addressing concerns and maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Basic Merging: Process basic account merges following established guidelines and secure necessary approvals.
- System Enhancements: Support testing for system enhancements and initiatives related to customer master data management.
Customer Account Specialist Qualifications
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer data management or a similar role, preferably in a large-scale organization.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or other data management tools is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage large data volumes accurately.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to identify data patterns and trends.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Both a team player and capable of working independently.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new systems and processes.
- Detail-oriented while maintaining an awareness of the bigger picture.
Compensation: $18/hr.
