Director/VP of HR
Our client is seeking a Director/VP of HR to assist their organization. The Director/VP of HR will be responsible for supporting our client's growing company through dynamic leadership, knowledge, and expertise. This will be accomplished by developing the HR team, collaborating with company key stakeholders to support our purpose, mission, and plan, developing/maintaining systems that promote compliance while, most importantly, serving as a cultural ambassador.
 
This role is onsite in McMinnville, Oregon.

Director/VP of HR Responsibilities

  • Serves as a cultural ambassador and a key member of our leadership team.
  • Understands that the communities of our client's organization are their customer and leads a support model within the HR team that provides high service outcomes.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to evolve the way the organization support their valued team members, supporting the client's quest to be the employer of choice in each market where they serve residents.
  • Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs, monitoring administration to established standards and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Develops and administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
  • Serves as the company point-of-contact for all HR systems, ensuring a successful and robust company technical platform is in place, in support of the client's employees.
  • Selects, supervises, and collaborates with legal and human resource consultants, and coordinates company use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers, benefit administrators, and other outside sources.
  • Conducts a continuing study of all human resources policies, programs, and practices to keep executive team informed of new developments while also remaining compliant with standards and regulations in each state where they operate.
  • Development and support of a genuine employee-oriented, company culture, that emphasizes empowerment, quality, team-based outcomes and high performance.
  • Development and execution of company systems for all HR matters such as performance management, payroll, compensation, wellness and safety.
  • Proactively addresses and manages employee relations, as well as any legal requirements.
  • Leads the ongoing development of the human resources team.
  • Engaging presenter of information to groups of all sizes, encouraging engagement.

Director/VP of HR Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.
  • Minimum 10 plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources.
  • 5-plus years of managing a professional HR team.
  • Preference given to previous experience working in 2,000+ size organization.
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems, maximizing efficiencies through technology and implementing new systems.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.

Salary: $175K-$225K/year. (DOE)
