Environment, Health & Safety Coordinator (EHS)
Our client seeks an experienced EHS Coordinator to join their organization in Hillsboro, OR.

This role is onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct worksite audits to identify potential risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce or eliminate risks.
• Promote safety awareness through training seminars and informational materials.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and update work instructions as needed.
• Investigate workplace accidents and complaints.
• Assist with emergency response plans.
• Inspect work areas for safety hazards and risks.
• Lead the safety committee.
• Train employees and temporary employees for forklift operations.
• File OSHA reports in a timely.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in safety management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations, laws, and industry standards relevant to food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of hazard assessment techniques, risk management strategies, and incident investigation protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Proven track record of building safety programs and fostering a culture of safety.

Salary: $27-$35/hr. (DOE)
