Host Engagement Specialist (Outbound)
As a Host Engagement Specialist (Outbound), you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying, reaching out to, and engaging potential hosts across various platforms. Your primary focus will be on generating new leads, initiating contact, and guiding prospects through the sales funnel. This role requires strong skills in outbound prospecting, lead nurturing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for potential hosts, ultimately leading to trip launches and confirmations.
Host Engagement Specialist (Outbound) Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting and Lead Generation (65%)
Targeted Outreach: Proactively identify and engage with potential hosts (content creators, experts, entrepreneurs, influencers) on social media platforms, communities, and online marketplaces to introduce company offerings.
Lead Generation and Qualification: Initiate contact with leads, assess their interest and fit, and qualify them for hosting opportunities. Utilize lead scoring systems to prioritize engagement efforts.
Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns aligned with our ideal customer profile.
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, interactions, and lead status within our CRM system.
Data Management: Ensure all outreach activities and lead statuses are up-to-date in our CRM.
Lead Nurturing and Funnel Advancement (25%)
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential hosts through personalized messaging and ongoing communication to move leads efficiently through the sales funnel.
Employ a consultative selling approach to understand the unique needs of content creators, showcasing how the company can enhance their community-building efforts.
Provide potential hosts with necessary information and resources, collaborating with internal teams for a smooth onboarding process.
Strategic Integration (10%)
Collaborate with the inbound team to identify synergies between inbound and outbound efforts, supporting broader lead generation initiatives.
Share best practices and trends with the Host Engagement and Host Success Management teams to enhance the customer experience.
Attend customer meetings to gather feedback and optimize lead quality, while staying informed on trends in the social media and creator space to identify new growth opportunities.
Host Engagement Specialist (Outbound) Qualifications
1+ years of professional inside sales or business development experience.
Experience with CRM tools (preferably HubSpot) and customer service software (preferably Intercom).
Proficient in Google Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of lead prioritization and experience in fast-paced environments.
High energy and enthusiasm in a sales environment.
Ability to execute detailed outbound sales plans independently and drive new lead engagement.
Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to diagnose challenges and implement creative solutions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with potential hosts.
Salary: Up to $57K (DOE)
