Leave of Absence Case Manager (Remote – EST)
Are you a detail-oriented and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting employees through challenging times? Our client is seeking a proactive and communicative Case Manager who thrives in coordinating with various teams, managing complex situations with discretion, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will be a skilled multitasker with a strong ability to manage caseloads, educate stakeholders, and maintain a high level of confidentiality, all while providing exceptional support to both employees and management.

This is a remote role available to those residing within a 2-hour commute to Boston, Massachusetts.

Leave of Absence Case Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage and track leaves of absence, workers compensation, and accommodations in compliance with company policies, federal, and state regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, managers, and third-party administrators to ensure smooth case management and communication.
  • Educate and assist managers with leave processes, time entry, and return-to-work planning.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and participate in periodic claims and absence trend reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Safety, Legal, Payroll, etc.) and external vendors to ensure compliance and timely resolution of cases.

Leave of Absence Case Manager Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of leave management, workers compensation, and disability programs.
  • Experience in administrative support, case management, and compliance with federal/state laws.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and third parties both verbally and in writing.
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.

Salary: $30+/hr. (DOE)
