Merchandising Specialist
Our client is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to support global merchandising efforts by driving consumer-centric assortment strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of the consumer landscape, retail environments, and key marketplace trends. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proven retail acumen, and the ability to influence product offerings across multiple seasons.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Merchandising Specialist Responsibilities

• Develop consumer-driven assortment plans by blending data insights with marketplace trends.
• Participate in seasonal reviews and assortment planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Manage and balance multiple seasons, providing insights to inform future strategies.
• Gather and analyze consumer trends, sales data, and marketplace insights to optimize product adoption.
• Partner with Merchandising Leadership and upstream teams to influence product offerings.
• Work closely with merchandising, planning, allocation, product marketing, finance, and analytics teams.
• Utilize business reporting tools to track key retail and digital metrics, including sell-through, margin, and inventory trends.

Merchandising Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• 2+ years of experience in merchandising, product creation, or retail within a vertical, multi-brand, or digital environment.
• Strong understanding of retail and digital metrics such as sell-through, margin, and inventory turnover.
• Ability to translate consumer, sales, and trend insights into impactful merchandising strategies.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing key business decisions.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with attention to detail and consistency.
• Adaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.

Compensation: Up to $38/hr. (DOE)
