Production Lead – Night Shift
Our client is seeking a Production Lead to oversee manufacturing operations at their state-of-the-art facility. This role is integral to maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality while fostering a positive team environment.
This position is onsite in McMinnville, Oregon, with a focus on the Night Shift from 5PM-5AM.
Production Lead – Night Shift Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Oversee a team of production associates, ensuring a productive and positive work environment.
- Interview, hire, and train staff to meet operational needs.
Quality Assurance and Food Safety
- Enforce strict quality control standards to ensure products meet high standards.
- Adhere to rigorous food safety protocols and GMPs, including lot traceability and inspections.
- Maintain compliance with safety requirements, including proper use of PPE (e.g., slip-resistant shoes, hair nets, lab coats).
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity in production processes.
- Implement and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Flexibility and Adaptability
- Step into various line positions when needed to cover unforeseen circumstances.
- Be willing to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Cross-train in different roles for better operational coverage.
Production Lead – Night Shift Qualifications
- Proven experience in a food manufacturing environment as a production lead.
- Strong knowledge of food safety principles and GMPs.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
- Familiarity with operational policies, practices, and basic computer skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team. All training and materials provided in English.
Compensation: 28.88/hr. (DOE)
