Program Manager
Our client is seeking a Program Manager to lead and direct project teams engaged in the design, implementation, and modification of technology projects, particularly in managing Content Management Systems (CMS) for large enterprise programs. The Program Manager will be responsible for preparing project execution plans, identifying necessary resources, and ensuring projects meet technical requirements, budgets, and timelines.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Program Manager Responsibilities
- Lead one or more project teams, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, identifying technical and business resources as needed.
- Manage a Content Management System (CMS) that supports multiple enterprise programs.
- Coordinate Agile sprint planning, retrospectives, and generate planning reports.
- Mitigate risks and ensure alignment with multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
- Directly collaborate with product teams on translation initiatives.
- Partner with project managers to support an offshore engineering team.
- Implement a “follow-the-sun” model for seamless handoffs across time zones.
- Support and take ownership of tasks within cross-functional team settings.
- Drive generative AI progress and transparency, adapting as the technology evolves.
- Facilitate effective communication with a range of stakeholders across business and technical areas.
- Use Jira to create program-level views and manage project tracking.
- Manage Confluence for documentation and cross-team visibility.
- Build and oversee comprehensive program plans, timelines, and cross-functional maps.
Program Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, ideally as a business or process leader or industry expert.
- Strong background in program management, with hands-on experience in managing complex technology projects.
- Proven expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS) within enterprise-scale projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, including Jira and Confluence, to streamline project visibility and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record in project and time management.
- Highly adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Experience working across time zones, particularly in East Coast and offshore team collaboration.
Compensation: $67.33/hr. (DOE)
