Revenue Cycle Operations Manager
Our healthcare client seeks a compassionate and team-oriented leader to join their medical billing team as the Revenue Cycle Operations Manager! In this role you will play a key role in optimizing revenue cycle operations and driving growth across the organization. With a focus on team development, strategic decision-making, and continuous process improvement, you'll be instrumental in enhancing billing efficiencies and maximizing revenue potential.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week onsite in Tigard, Oregon.
Revenue Cycle Operations Manager Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and develop revenue cycle team members, including recruitment, training, performance feedback, and annual reviews.
- Coordinate and manage payer contracts, ensuring contract requirements are implemented effectively.
- Advise leadership on revenue cycle management and support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across revenue cycle operations.
- Provide guidance on coding, documentation, and compliance issues to ensure best practices.
Revenue Cycle Operations Manager Qualifications
- Must have prior experience with both Medicare and Medicaid billing. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) preferred.
- 5 years of direct supervisory/leadership experience in revenue cycle management or medical billing.
- Certifications such as Revenue Cycle Professional, CPC, CRCP, or CRMS are a plus.
- Prior experience with electronic health record software (Epic or similar preferred).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions and effectively manage a team.
Salary: $80k-$100k (DOE)
