Risk Adjustment Coder (QHP)
Our national non-profit healthcare client seeks an experienced Risk Adjustment Coder to support to their team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and has impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.

This is a fully remote role.

Risk Adjustment Coder Responsibilities

• Perform code abstraction and quality audits to ensure accurate ICD-10-CM coding in medical records, primarily for QHP.
• Code for government and state models ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Stay updated on ICD-10-CM codes, CMS documentation standards, and relevant state and federal regulations.

Risk Adjustment Coder Qualifications

• Current core coding credentials through AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., RHIT, CCS, CPC); AAPC CRC certification preferred.
• At least 5 years in risk adjustment coding including RADV experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and efficient multi-tasker with the ability to effectively prioritize competing tasks.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information.

Salary: $30-$35/hr. (DOE)
