Safety and Compliance Coordinator
Our client is seeking a skilled Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join their team! This role is ideal for someone who excels in fostering a culture of safety and ensuring adherence to industry standards, with a focus on both employee well-being and product quality.

Safety and Compliance Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an audit system to uphold the quality of products and safety protocols.
  • Support audit preparations and manage documentation, ensuring corrective actions are accurately tracked and resolved.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring safety and operational training is effectively delivered and recorded.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements that promote both safe work environments and high-quality production.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to implement training programs and perform audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Safety and Compliance Coordinator Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in food production, distribution, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and operational procedures, particularly within the food industry (OSHA, Workers’ Comp, DOT, HACCP, FDA, and food safety guidelines).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying and addressing safety concerns.

Salary: $85k-$95k (DOE)
