Senior Accountant
Our local Portland client seeks a team-oriented Senior Accountant to join their close-knit team. This is a hybrid role requiring qualified applicants to commute weekly to offices in Portland, Oregon.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Ensure month-end processes are completed timely and accurately.
• Review accounting transactions, leases, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Prepare reconciliations and research accounting discrepancies.
• Provide audit and tax return preparation/filing support.
• Support AP, AR, and payroll functions as needed.

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment.
• At least 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech/software/SaaS, ecommerce, or retail.
• Strong knowledge of month end close functions and processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in public accounting and/or start-up environment a plus.
• QuickBooks and Intermediate Excel required; NetSuite or other cloud-based ERP experience preferred.
• Tech-savvy with MS Office and Google Suite; able to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage priorities to meet deadlines.

Salary: $38-$40/hr. (DOE)
