Senior Financial Analyst
Our reputable Portland local client seeks an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their team! This role will work directly with the CFO, Controller, VP of Sales, and Marketing leaders to support the organization’s financial strategies and ongoing success.
Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly P&L statements with insights on key metrics, variances, and risks; leverage data analytics for trend identification and forecasting.
- Lead development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets; drive monthly sales forecasts by collaborating with sales leaders and conduct ROI analyses for capital expenditures and new initiatives.
- Develop KPI dashboards and ensure accurate data reporting while resolving integration issues with relevant departments.
- Partner with production and supply chain teams to align financial strategies, support sales/operating plans, and improve financial processes across teams.
- Create and maintain presentation templates for leadership, assist in calculating commissions and incentives, and ensure timely and accurate financial support for sales operations.
- Suggest and implement continuous process improvements to enhance reporting processes for efficiency.
Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in mid-to-large sized CPG, food manufacturing, B2B, or similar organization.
- Proficiency with ERP system (NetSuite, Oracle, or similar), Power BI, and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments, influence decision-making, and thrive in fast-paced environments while continuously seeking process improvements
- Strong analytical abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Salary: $95k-$110k (DOE)
