Senior Grant Administration Specialist
Our well-established non-profit healthcare client seeks a motivated Senior Grant Administration Specialist to support their Boston, Massachusetts team on a temporary basis. This is a stellar opportunity to join a mission-driven organization that aims to continuously build on its impact on the lives of those in the local community! The ideal candidate is organized and has the ability to manage high volumes of complex grant and contract transactions.

This is a remote role working EST hours.

Senior Grant Administration Specialist Responsibilities

  • Serve as the expert for all sponsored program matters, managing complex pre-award and non-financial post-award tasks including proposal submission and compliance documentation.
  • Advise Principal Investigators on funding opportunities, review proposal guidelines, and facilitate submission processes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze and prepare detailed budgets, ensure compliance with agency regulations, and collect necessary compliance documentation for applications/reports.
  • Process subawards and modifications, develop monitoring plans, and manage risk assessments for subrecipients while serving as the primary contact for inquiries.
  • Recommend process enhancements, resolve issues to meet deadlines, and maintain organized databases for agreements and submissions.

Senior Grant Administration Specialist Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 years of grants administration (grants, contracts, subcontracts) experience.
  • Strong understanding of federal, local, and non-federal program administration guidelines/compliance regulations.
  • Knowledge of grant management systems (InfoEd, Commbuys, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
  • Customer service focused with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret policies effectively.

Salary: $36/hr. (DOE)
