Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving processes, strong PC skills, and a proactive attitude. This role involves packaging and shipping tech equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining organized shipping spaces.

This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon. 12-month contract duration. Only candidates who are committed to fulfilling the entire contract duration will be considered.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Responsibilities

  • Handle the shipment and receipt of all desktop equipment.
  • Assemble new hire, break fix, and termination boxes sent to customers.
  • Create inbound and outbound shipping labels using the UPS global shipping tool.
  • Cleaning, sorting, and boxing of incoming and outgoing desktop equipment.
  • Accurate scanning of equipment into and out of inventory.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve shipping issues raised by customers.
  • Maintain a clean and neat shipping and receiving staging area.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Qualifications

  • High School diploma and a minimum of one year of work-related experience.
  • Microsoft Office Applications experience.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Proficient using a personal computer, mobile device, and Bluetooth scanner.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Superior problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Preferred:

  • UPS Campus Ship experience.
  • BMC Remedy Experience (incident management system).

Compensation: $20/hr.
