Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (Remote – Georgia)
Our employee-centric client seeks a passionate Financial Reporting professional with strong quantitative analysis skills to join their team. This Sr Manager of FP&A will work with a very dynamic executive management team so support decision making and their rapid growth going into 2025. The ideal candidate is well-versed in revenue modeling functions and enjoys utilizing their analytical mindset to support the organization’s financial success.
This is a remote role. Preference will be given to those within a 2–3-hour commute of Atlanta, Georgia.
Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting, reporting, and decision-making, focusing on revenue and sales pipeline.
- Support sales and operations leadership with performance tracking against budgets and operational targets.
- Oversee and guide a commission team, ensuring alignment with organizational business cadence.
- Prepare financial reports for executive management, parent company, and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with GAAP and supporting performance management.
- Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly/monthly forecasting, and financial close processes, including variance analysis and performance reports.
Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance or a quantitative field.
- 3+ years of financial planning, analysis, or related experience in a high-volume environment.
- Background in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or financial strategy support roles.
- Exposure to fortune 500 organization or similar is a plus.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, including GAAP, budgeting, and cost control.
- Expertise in advanced Excel modeling, including functions, Power Query, pivot tables, and financial reporting; experience with ERP systems and integrated planning tools preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate modeling concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Quantitative mindset with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
Compensation: $120k-$150k (DOE) + Bonus
