Technical Accountant
Our reputable client seeks a knowledgeable Technical Accountant to join their team! This is a stellar opportunity to join a successful company that has been in operation for more than 50 years and continues to grow. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, collaborative, a quick learner, and enjoys developing process improvements and efficiencies to streamline accounting processes within systems.

This is a hybrid role requiring qualified applicants to commute weekly to offices in Vancouver, Washington.

Technical Accountant Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide accounting projects to improve efficiency.
• Analyze current accounting processes and suggest process improvements.
• Support SEC reporting and filing processes (10-K, 10-Q).
• Assist with external requests for SOX testing and annual audits.
• Track and share project progress updates with stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc accounting support.

Technical Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• At least 2 years of technical accounting experience.
• Knowledge of SEC reporting, SOX requirements, and GAAP highly preferred.
• Tech-savvy with ERP systems; prior implementation and/or process streamlining experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Salary: $80k-$85k + Bonus (DOE)
